When the Pandemic sent the entire business world to work from home, Ezra recognized his company’s opportunity to solve problems had arrived quicker than he imagined.

For years, Ezra’s audio-visual business - “av4all” - struggled to compete against the larger, more established local AV brands in the industry who had a much stronger network of notable clients. This wasn’t from a lack of effort or creativity. Every six months, Ezra crafted a personal pitch to a few dozen major corporations offering flexible AV services at a lower price than any of his competitors.

Yet, it never mattered. Ezra rarely heard back from anyone and when he did, the message always read: “No. We have someone.”

While temporarily discouraged, Ezra learned a lot from these rejections, most notably: enormous, reputable companies were content paying more for an AV business that was trustworthy and offered the necessary services.

It finally hit him. The only way “av4all” could break through these established relationships and find new (big) business was for Ezra to utilize the one major advantage his company had over his competitors - nimbleness. Since he was small, it was much easier for him to explore new spaces and take on the risk of offering an original service. His AV competitors were so large and rigid (and successful in their own space) it was difficult to adapt quickly.

In 2017, after much time, effort, and research, Ezra decided “av4all” was going to be the first AV business in the market to launch a live-streaming service. In addition to offering audio-video capabilities for large events, “av4all” could design and produce an entire ceremony to simultaneously live-stream on social media to an audience watching from home.

The idea had great potential, although his investment was slow to take off. Until March 2020.

With the entire business world sent home wondering how to manage workflow, Ezra recognized his company was perfectly positioned to help. He, again, crafted personal pitches to major corporations only this time his messages were immediately returned.

“Av4all” met the moment, positively rescuing businesses through a (seemingly) impossible time and guiding them into a modern connection with their audience. Ezra’s network was exploding and he was busy scaling up to meet the demand, which he anticipated would double. Right now, the AV Industry is valued at over $200 billion and - with society becoming more reliant on technology - is expected to grow to $325 billion by 2026. So, Ezra knew he needed to strike while the iron’s hot and focus on adding more services like VR (virtual reality) and AR (augmented reality).
